Reiki friends ~ Although it’s currently quiet on the political front with the recent attempts to regulate Reiki practice, regulatory plans are still in the works, and will surely appear again. When that happens, I will share updates. In the meantime, I want to spotlight another, non-political attempt to regulate Reiki and other energy healing modalities. If you’re like most of my Reiki friends, you love animals and want to support their healing. And you probably already share Reiki with the animals in your life. But are you doing the right thing for your animals? Did you know that traditional Reiki practice wasn’t designed with animals in mind? It’s true; the Usui system of Reiki was designed to be used by and for people. Most humans will lay quietly for up to an hour while you gently place your hands on different parts of their body.
