5 Lessons Learned from the Pandemic

It’s been 1 month since we reopened for In-Person Yoga Classes since the COVID-19 shutdown. Being closed for nearly 6 months wasn’t easy, and we spent many a sleepless night, wondering if we’d be able to survive. But now that we’re back, we want to share what we’ve learned.

5 Lessons Learned from the Pandemic:

1) There’s nothing like in-person yoga classes.
Maybe the thing we missed the most during the shutdown was our in-person yoga classes. The cameraderie and support that happens when we get together is something you can’t replicate on any online platform. See Our New Yoga Class Schedule Here

2) On-demand classes are “almost as good as being there”.
For those in the vulnerable population, our on-demand classes have been a lifesaver, and we will continue to provide them going forward. How great will it be to practice in your own living room during one of our famous CNY snow storms this winter?

3) Wearing a mask in yoga class isn’t as hard as it seems.
At first, it seemed like a big hurdle to jump, but with just a few tricks and tips, wearing a mask in class seems like second nature. Watch this Short Video to Learn How

4) Physical distancing isn’t the same as social distancing.
Whether you come in for an in-person yoga class, or take our on-demand classes, we’ve learned that although we may be physically distant, we can remain socially connected. In fact, we feel closer to all of you, our students, than ever before!

5) We have the best students on the planet!
Maybe our biggest takeaway from the pandemic shutdown is how grateful we are for our students. When we re-opened in early September, we didn’t know if anyone would show up. We knew that the survival of our business hinged upon being able to bring people back to the studio, and slowly more and more students are returning. We want to thank you for putting your faith in us to provide you with a clean and safe environment in which to practice yoga. View Our COVID Safety Plan

Are you ready to come back to in-person classes? Please pre-register online or contact us for assistance. Not ready to come back to the studio yet? We still have new on-demand classes each week. Questions or concerns? Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
