If you’re like most of my Reiki friends, you love animals and want to support their healing. And you probably already share Reiki with the animals in your life. But are you doing the right thing for your animals? Did you know that traditional Reiki practice wasn’t designed with animals in mind? It’s true; the Usui system of Reiki was designed to be used by and for people. Most humans will lay quietly for up to an hour while you gently place your hands on different parts of their body. But animals are different. They have a different way of being in the world. They’re more active than humans. It’s not.
